She travels the country, conducting seminars and inspiring new home sales representatives with her seminars exclusively tailored to the new homebuilder industry. Additionally, her state-of-the-art video mystery shopping services have resulted in evaluating more than 20,000 salespeople nationwide!

Melinda has a unique benefit of incorporating actual video clips of the best practices caught on tape into her sales seminars and sales training products. Melinda is a prominent speaker for the Institute of Residential Marketing, a keynote speaker to national homebuilders and homebuilder associations, and the author of numerous sales articles for various trade publications. She is a member of the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) and the National Speakers Association (NSA). Her company is a six-time award winner of Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence (MAME) and she was honored as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses in Orlando by the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce. Melinda Brody and Company celebrated 25 years in the housing industry in 2011.

Kim began her career with Melinda Brody and Company as a shopper in 2001. Her years of experience with the company have positioned her as the Director of Client Services. In this role she supervises both the scheduling and the processing team to ensure the best quality product and the quickest turnaround possible. Kim and her husband are our most experienced traveling shoppers.

Jeanne is responsible for scheduling shops in Florida and working with clients to deliver shops in a timely way. Jeanne has more than 14 years of experience in the sales field. She has owned and operated her own successful home based business, where she trained and managed more than 125 people.

Pam is responsible for scheduling shops and working with clients.  She has 10 years in the field of education as well as 10 years in the sales field. After her years of teaching, she owned and operated her own home based business, servicing clients, as well as, training and managing a team of 50 people.

Karen began mystery shopping for Melinda Brody and Company in 2005.  She is MSPA Gold Certified and has completed over 700 successful shops. Karen's background in education, experience in training and years of mystery shopping enable her to identify with and understand shopper challenges. She interviews new applicants and coaches them through their first assignments.

 

Our Processing Team includes both reviewers and editors. Reviewers edit videos, write the evaluation report narrative, and accurately score the sales representative to provide a quantifiable report. Each reviewer completes an in-depth orientation of Melinda's 5-Star Selling program, which enables them to evaluate the dos and don'ts of a good sales presentation. Editors review the report for final approval before it is sent to the client.

Our Shoppers are field tested and coached on how to stay incognito during a shop and improve their performance. We are continually checking camera equipment and researching the latest and most updated surveillance systems in the market. Our shoppers are trained specifically for shopping homebuilders and are very well versed in playing the part of an interested prospect looking for a new home.
